Focus on ladies

Well it was a Big Weekend, and for the Olympics another what if....For those who got themselves out of bed Liam made for a compelling story in the race but an early crash made a medal impossible. Liam was 7th and Oli 12th, congratualtions to them both.

Over at Eastridge it was NPS4. Ian Bibby toook the Elite Men's and Jenn O'Connor the women's. Joolze has supplied today's front page pic of Expert Men's winner Tim Dunford and has a gallery at http://www.joolzedymond.com. Rob Crayton was there on Enduro day and has a gallery at http://www.robcrayton.co.uk.

Eldrik Hartley took the train and covered it for us and for this race we have an extra focus on the Women's Elite race. We also have a VFTP from Jenny Copnall and another one soon from james Hampshire.

Midlands XC final series standings will be live this week.

The sun also shone on National Champs. Congratulations to Liam Killeen and Jenny Copnall your 2008 Senior National Champions and David Fletcher and Amy Hunt your under 23 champs. Wins also for Nina Davies, Sam Gardner, Kenta Gallagher, Ruby Miller, Debbie Burton, Ian Wright, Hugo Robinson, Bethany Crumpton, Annie Last, Hamish Creber, Mark Chadbourne and Victor Barnett....National Champions, all of them.
